USA Patriot Act

In accordance with Section 326 of the USA PATRIOT ACT, to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you. When you open an account with CoAFCU, we will ask for:

• your name;
• address;
• date or birth;
• and other information to allow us to identify you.

We will also ask to see you driver's license or other identifying documents. These documents will be kept confidential and will not be used for any other purpose than compliance with the USA Patriot Act.
